Travel is always going to be something of an adventure outside of the normal tourist destinations. I’ve always been cool with adventurous excursions in general but these days, while my country is morphing into a war mongering pariah nation, there’s a shortage of cruising destinations where we’re welcome.
Face it, you don’t like bullies, I don’t like bullies, and no one likes bullies. Folks from the US of A now represent a country associated with bullying and a general disrespect to other countries and their people. Which is not conductive to winning anyone’s hearts and minds.
So, just a thought, but maybe a good time while planning one’s cruising is to factor in needful information. Like heavily tariffed, countries, places we’ve canceled humanitarian aid, or places that have been called shit-hole countries by our felon in chief.
You might find the results somewhat depressing.
On the plus side, you’ll wind up with a much shorter cruising itinerary.
