A couple of days ago we jettisoned the hard dodger on the Islander and the boat now looks a lot better. Granted, I will have to do some sort of minimal dodger but that can wait til the Holidaze have passed.
The downside of removing the dodger is that the coach roof really does need to get a coat of paint as well…
All those little jobs add up to a fairly full scale of working days.
As it happens Michael (you know the proa guy) sent me a picture that really resonated with me of a Dazzled San Juan that seriously rocks.

Yeah, DAZZLE! I can’t ever remember being excited about a haul out before but I’m actually looking forward to it now. You might say I have a cunning plan…
