a midnight bang and a crash…

A pretty good point, today’s good cartoon, and in the “more excrement, bigger fans” department…

It’s astounding, time is fleeting, madness takes its toll. But listen closely, not for very much longer, I’ve got to keep control
— Richard O’Brien

Last night there was the sound of an unexplained loud crash of something falling that got me out of bed. Flashlight in hand I could find nothing amiss.

Weird shit…

Offhand, I blame one or two of our resident lizards getting up to some early Halloween shenanigans as it had just turned midnight.

Lizards you say?

One of our lizards

Yeah, lizards. As it happens, the Islander came with a couple of families of lizards so predate date us as far as ownership goes. Last I looked, we have two different species who seem to get along with each other and and seem to accept the fact that we’re now part of their lives.

As for us, now that we’re catless cat people it’s nice to have someone who you can talk to on the midnight watch.

That said, I’m still wondering what our lizards have in store for us this hallowed eve…

Here’s hoping you all have an excellent tear gas free Halloween.
