a big roof version of the Divinité 5.83m…

A very interesting read, the Dropkick Murphys ask the important question, and in the “fascinated by the befuddingly strange moments” department…

Now this is cool.

Divinité 5.83m big roof:

– Possibility of strip planking roof with 1.84m headroom !

– Possibility of junk rig.

– Same characteristics as the first flush deck version, excepted -290mm of draft when the keel is raised.

– enclosed toilets with zip curtains.

More info soon come.

  1. I have noted that many marinas in the EU are now charging at a “minimum” 8m rate for visitors, which then generally fall into the 8 to 10m charge bracket. Unless your home port charges by the actual size, there is not much benefit of the smaller boat, outside of build cost.

All that aside, I like it, and its more liveable than some of the contraptions the old Swede comes up with.
