This week has found my inbox inundated with copious promotional content for the new Wauquiez 55. Now, while I have a lot of respect for Wauquiez boats in general, their new offering is far more expensive than I could ever afford and it is most certainly not what I consider a cruising boat. Definitely not a VolksCruiser.
It is, however, a real contender for upscale luxury condo of the year…
I rest my case.
The thought process I use to vet whether a boat has VolksCruiser potential or not, is my favorite automobile ad for the Citroën 2CV. You know, the all you’ll ever need in a car one…
Anyway, something to think about…
