Did someone say zombie apocalypse?

A depressingly good point, some more Panama canal news, and Mr Zip could be your connection

OK, I’ll admit that the current state of tings in the US of A is, at best, fraught. The current downside is that it’s really hard to get back to doing the needful boat projects that need to be done. Plus, there are a bunch of projects that I should be enjoying but, apparently due to the imminent zombie apocalypse, joyful stuff seems to be on the back burner.

As the late, great Hunter S, Thompson said…

When the going gets weird the weird turn pro.”

Considering that has been my go-to mantra since 1971, following it now is just part of the roads I like to travel. That said, I don’t think any of us ever imagined that the going was ever going to be this fucking weird and all too real.

But, as we all know, shit happens.

In the mean time, I need to get started on a plywood “Zombie Apocalypse” dinghy which is a cross between a normal eight foot skiff and a Portland Pudgy but, more on that later…
