An important memo, a timely requiem, and in the “Let’s do a fucking headcount” department…
Paul Gartside has a pretty cool new junk rig design.

It’s a very interesting design. Made more interesting as there’s also an article about it in the new issue of Water Craft. With electronic plans currently selling for just $150, it’s a real deal.
We need more junk rig boats like this.
On a different tack, Paul Gartside also sells plans for beaching legs. While nobody these days outside of the UK do beaching legs anymore, they certainly make sense these days and would pay for themselves the first time you used them to touch up your antifouling. Anyway, something to think about.

What was wierd, when i checked that out 2 weeks ago, the price went down to $112, then raised a dollar a day to $114, where it is now. It is even stranger if the web page you see says $150. Bargain plans and an interesting design. If i didnt already have more plans than i will ever build, it would be in my cart already! The original “Waterbear” was cool too.
