Boy howdy, every time I look at charts they’re even more expensive.
Yeah, I know, paper charts are old fashioned and electronic charts combined with a phone, computer, or chart plotter are what all the cool folks use. I long ago gave up being a member of the ‘cool folks’ club.
Still, I would not go on passage without at least minimal chart coverage in paper charts.
That said, I’m all for having a plethora of electronic charts just as long as I have a paper backup just in case. Of course, I find the current cost of such dinosaur charts so high.
Well, when and if you can find the ones you want…
