While I have zero desire to ever return to the sunshine state (with the exception of reading Carl Hiaasen and James W. Hall books) I have kept a weather eye on its continued anti-cruiser policies.

Yeah, I know, upscale beachfront property owners don’t want their view sullied by someone hanging underwear on their lifelines and of course, “what about derelict boats?”.

Might as well add any cruiser on a budget as well.

Sadly, quite a few other states are on the anti-cruiser/live-aboard bandwagon so if you want to continue cruising in the US of A you might want to follow various schemes and political fuckery that are a very real threat to life afloat.
