Way too much bad news on my desktop, so here’s a plywood cruising scow that caught my attention.

It’s the Kaori 850

It’s got that ‘modern scow’ vibe and well worth checking out. Built right, no one would ever think this 27-foot boat is built of ply.
An alternative scow you might want to check out is Tad Robert’s Laura Cove 28 which wears it’s plywood construction proudly.


They both have their appeal and either of them would be an excellent build. Truth be told, of the two the Laura Cove is more my style…
