So, the current piratical increase in cruising fees for folks visiting the Bahamas makes for a non-Volkcruiserish destination. The good news is that at least we know in advance and can avoid visiting or sailing through the Bahamas.
The downside, of course, is that it will send a message to lawmakers everywhere that such greedy skullduggery is an option.
But hey, we’re all rich and it’s not problematic… Right?
Speaking of pricing for stupid rich folks, I noticed that an Imray chart I need costs $28.50 in the states but costs $69.95 at Budget Marine. Apparently their name is something of a contradiction in terms.
Anyway, that 30-year old 3HP Yamaha is not going to fix itself…
