So, the yearly Defender sale is with us again.
There was a time when I really looked forward to Defender’s annual sale and did most of my heavy purchasing for the year during it. Nowadays, it just seems like a lot of stuff I neither want nor need selling for prices that are rather unimpressive in terms of discount.
Still, I find myself perusing it on the off chance that they’ll have something I need at a reasonable cost. Right now the only thing I really need is a hand-bearing compass. While they list a few at 10% off the list price, that is what everybody else sells them for all year long, so color me unimpressed.
