Some serious greed in progress, a name with baggage, and the word for the day is G-R-I-F-T…
A newsletter I subscribe to on the subject of minimalism included a link to their store. Being a bit curious of what exactly might reside in a minimalist store I thought a purview was in order.
As it happens, the online store front had lots of stuff that appeared bespoke, expensive and not needful.
Minimalism as a consumerist ploy…
Why am I not surprised but the hurt was unexpectedly sharp.
Needless to say I unsubscribed to the newsletter.
“A designer knows, he has achieved, perfection not when, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
