Some mind-blowing folded paper, a must read, and in the “but you already know this” department…

So, it’s Presidents’ Day and my email is full of holiday sales because, as everybody knows, holidays are all about buying stuff. Though it’s hard to concentrate on the sales with the cacophony of our dead presidents spinning like tops in their graves.

Depressing to the max.

I did do a quick look at West and Defender whose sales I’d describe as lackluster at best and hardly worth the effort. The few things on my want list seem to only go up in price and I’m not into recreational shopping so why bother?

Which leaves me with any number of need-to-get-to-tasks chief among them is putting together the side mount outboard mount and sorting out some sort of Bimini solar mount that does not turn the cockpit into a fugly Rube Goldberg jungle gym affair.

Of course, I’m still on a reading binge and could just read a bit then take some time to go for a swim and scrape the bottom…
