Where clutter is concerned, boats are always a problematic venue. The fact that boats have a lot of small places to stow stuff can go from organized to I can’t find anything in a New York minute.
So yeah, this weekend is an organize and purge event not unlike cleaning the Augean stables or Fibber McGee and Molly’s hall closet. Kind of a bummer that.
On the positive side, it will allow me to get the stuff together I need to deal with my backlog of projects. Plus, in my experience, an organize and purge usually brings some serendipitous input to various projects.
That said, it’s also the sort of work that makes me all sorts of grumpy.
