Cruising World, apparently, is taking a break from pimping boats for the uber 1% and has an interesting piece on a 20-foot, heavy displacement, junk rigged cruising boat by Artisan Boatworks.

As it happens, I’ve long admired the design work of the MacNaughton Penny design. It’s a pretty cool boat and excels where others fail in an affordable, long range, cruising boat for those on a budget.
Imagine going off into the sunset on a boat that’s not a catamaran and doesn’t cost a fortune.
Anyway, worth checking out if only as a amuse-bouche…
