A cruel stupid waste of resources, Florida’s “H” season just got more interesting, and in the “a better way” department…
So, I woke up to this insanity over at PBO this morning. Fourteen 120V lights!
Now, I’ll admit that my knee-jerk reaction to such an insane electrical system on a boat is for my head to explode but seeing that this sort of lunacy is damn near close to the norm, it’s more a sad sigh of resignation. Such is living in a more & more world when we should all be using less & less.
The secret to a good and sustainable boat electrical system is as much Zen or art as science. It’s something you have to become part of and feel the balance between need and want. More importantly, it’s not something you can just spend a lot of money and expect a successful outcome.
I expect, I’ll have some lucid thoughts on why I have such a negative reaction to the phrase ‘fourteen 120V lights’ and suchlike but that will have to wait for another day as I have errands to run and things to do…
