Yachting Monthly has a most excellent article on the reality of electric propulsion. Really, you should read it.
Having had three different electric propulsion systems on “So It Goes”, I’m well acquainted with both the advantages and disadvantages of going electric. I also have a fair amount of disdain for what passes for the general electric propulsion knowledge base. So, the fact that I actually agree with the writer is saying something.
So, yeah, like I said… read it.
